METHODOLOGY

Salary Data Methodology

Transparency about how we collect and analyze enablement compensation data.

Data Sources

Our salary data comes from 219 sales enablement job postings collected in 2026. We track postings that include "sales enablement," "revenue enablement," and "sales readiness" in the title or description across major job boards and company career pages.

Sample Size

Seniority Classification

We classify roles into four seniority levels based on title keywords and job description analysis:

Location Classification

Metro areas are assigned based on the posted job location. Remote roles are classified separately. Roles listing multiple locations are assigned to the primary listed location. 80 roles did not have a classifiable location and are excluded from metro-specific analysis.

Salary Metrics

When a job posting lists a salary range (e.g., "$120K - $160K"), we record both the minimum and maximum. Our "average minimum" and "average maximum" metrics represent the average of these figures across all postings in a category. The "median" is the midpoint of all salary midpoints (average of min and max for each posting).

Limitations

Update Frequency

Data is refreshed as new job postings are collected. The current dataset reflects postings as of 2026-04-04.
